Jog For A Cause (3.1 Miles) 00:28:38 | | When it comes to running races, there should be a separate category for jogging strollers! That category should then be broken in to single and doubles. This is our 2nd year pushing the girls in the double jogger for this race. Last year I ran it in 26:28 by myself. This year we ran together with the girls and our time was 26:18. There was a grandpa (you would have never known it!) with his granddaughter who finished 20 seconds before us with a single jogger. The hill was a struggle, but my sweet husband did the whole thing. I pushed a few times, but the bulk was Brian. Woohoo! Our splits were 9:12, 9:10, and 8:51 - considering we were pushing 70 pounds of girls and the double jogger that is definitely good. Our goal was a 9:10 pace. Pretty much, yes, this race was all about the jogging strollers. :-) Next Sunday will be the half marathon. Woohoo! |
